Entry Criteria
Are there any entry criteria to access the service?
Clients must be 18 years of age or older.
Methadone detox:
- Clients must be stable on a maximum dose of 50mls methadone [Referrals may be made before reaching 50mls if desired, to seek advice & support].
- Clients must be supported to detox by the prescribing GP
Alcohol Detox:
- Current level of use is problematic or hazardous
- Current engagement with community addiction support service.
- Clients must be supported to detox by their GP
Cocaine & Cannabis Cessation:
- Current level of use is problematic or hazardous
- Current engagement with community addiction support service, counsellor, GP etc.

We do not accept individuals who are pregnant, dependant on benzodiazepines, have a significant seizure risk, have a severe psychiatric illness or have acute mental health needs
