Entry Criteria
Are there any entry criteria to access the service?
The person needs to show evidence of living in the catchment area.
For residential detoxification, the person needs to be drug free (with the exception of certain prescribed medication).
If the referral is coming from the community, the person needs to have two weeks of verifiable negative urinalysis.
Details of any exclusion criteria.
The person is not drug-free or there are medical reasons (e.g. the last trimester of pregnancy, an underlying medical illness or where mental health issues are primary). A person may also be directed to another service if they do not live in the catchment area.

On successful completion of the 2nd assessment individuals are allocated a bed date.
