Waiting List

No current waiting list as we are open 7 days a week 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 12 to 6 pm Sat/Sun. We have 12 Garda vetted, insured and qualified Counsellors/Therapists that provide solution focused therapies and we also have a specialist addiction counsellor.

Average waiting time for an appointment is 24 to 36 hours.
Can service users avail of any other services provided by this organisation while they are on the waiting list?
Helplink’s qualified, insured and Garda vetted Counsellors and Mediators are available for appointments 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 12 to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday; at low costs or for free.

Conflict Resolution Services (Mediation):
In our Conflict Resolution Centre (CRC) we provide a face-to-face, donation based Mediation Service for people dealing with family, housing or community disputes/conflicts (West of Ireland only).
In addition we provide Ireland’s first Online Mediation Service – the reasoning behind setting up this service is because we wanted to support people who are in conflict and either cannot or should not be in the same room with each other; but they still need to sort out disputes such as child access and financial matters.

Fees
What fees are there for this service?
Addiction counselling is €60 for employed persons or €30 for unemployed persons / FT-Students.
A standard solution focused counselling appointment is €50 for employed persons or €30 for unemployed persons / FT-Students.
TUSLA referred clients go free for 6 to 9 appointments.
